Albuquerque Press Club · East Downtown
Perched on a hill in East Downtown, the Press Club fills a log-cabin building older than the state of New Mexico. Southwest Contemporary calls it a labyrinth where you can still light up, grill your own food on the patio, bang out a tune on the piano, and shoot pool or darts in the basement. A private club that welcomes drop-ins for a proper old-Albuquerque dive night.
Marble Brewery (One Eleven Bar & Venue) · Downtown
One of Albuquerque's largest and most-decorated breweries, anchored downtown with a hoppy IPA, a red ale, and Wildflower Wheat poured on a live-music patio. Gil's Thrilling Blog notes the rotating local food trucks that feed the taproom crowd across its several metro locations.
Casa Rondeña Winery · Los Ranchos
A Los Ranchos estate winery the Albuquerque Journal covered for its Animante expansion, a dining hall and courtyard that opened in 2024 and drew thousands of new members. Owner John Calvin makes roughly 10,000 cases a year on the grounds. Order a tasting of the estate reds, walk the philosopher's courtyard, and stay for a glass in the new dining hall if there is an event on.
