Husband and wife JC and Esther Tetreault opened a Fort Point brewpub and a Fenway taproom within a few years, helping launch Boston's beer garden scene. Team Trillium is known for genre defining New England IPAs and boundary pushing pastry stouts, poured fresh alongside a food menu at the taprooms.

One of New England's original craft breweries and among the country's biggest craft producers. Its German style beer hall in the Seaport pours fresh Harpoon IPA and UFO brews straight from the source, plus limited pilot releases, house pretzels, and hard cider fermented on site.

This Cambridge cafe by day, brewery by night has been busy from morning through last call since it opened. House brews from cofounder Tyler Fitzpatrick include Birds of a Feather IPA and London Calling chocolate porter, served across two distinct bar rooms with solid food to match.

Somerville's first production brewery in a century has been building community since 2014. It shares warehouse space with a food hall of pop ups and hosts a rotating lineup of jazz nights, markets, and events, giving the taproom the feel of a neighborhood gathering spot.

Boston's largest neighborhood got its own craft brewery in 2016, doubling as the city's large scale contract brewer for outside brands. The taproom added a rooftop beer garden and became the permanent home of M&M BBQ, making it a full afternoon destination.
