North Of The Bayou Brewery · East Side
Cajun and Creole dishes, including jambalaya and crab cakes, from an east side kitchen that also runs live music, a Friday fish fry and a small brewery attached to the dining room. It is one of only two Cajun-leaning restaurants left standing in a Madison scene that has lost several longtime players in recent years.

A Cajun seafood-boil house on the east side, opened in a former Ginza of Tokyo space, per Isthmus's food coverage. It is one of the few dedicated Cajun kitchens still operating in the metro, after a wave of closures took out several of the city's other Cajun and Creole restaurants.
