Editor’s picks from published local guides
Bongo Lounge has operated since 1959 with a cash only bar and a firmly local rhythm. The Highland Drive room is compact, unvarnished and more concerned with familiar pours than trends. Decades of continuity show in the regulars, the simple setup and the sense that little needs changing when a neighborhood bar already understands its role.
