Bread Garden is a Korean bakery in Newport News that Coastal Virginia Magazine's Flour Power roundup named for its soft, cream-filled buns. The Village Square shop keeps a rotating case of milk breads, cream buns and cakes, light and not too sweet. Order a couple of cream buns and a slice of cake for the drive, and go in the morning when the case is fullest. A Peninsula-side stop since 2007.
