Brown Hound Downtown opened at 500 University Avenue inside the Memorial Art Gallery, CITY Magazine's Katie Libby reported, after chef Aser moved the original Bristol room to Canandaigua and took up a second space in the city. It carries a bakery where Aser works as pastry chef, plus a bistro on the veranda, run on the same local and seasonal footing. Come for brunch on the veranda and finish with something from the bakery.
