Opened in 1971 on West Lovers Lane and still run by one family, Celebration led Dallas toward farm-to-table cooking long before the phrase caught on, and the Dallas Observer marked its fiftieth year with the rotating menu of fresh, local and sustainable plates intact. Meals still begin with a basket of yeast rolls, muffins and cornbread baked in house. Five decades have spread it across a cluster of old houses with a bar and a fountain patio.
