City & State is a Broad Avenue coffeehouse with room to sit over a drink. After years as a combined cafe and retail shop, it removed the retail side to give coffee and seating more space. Order a latte and settle in for a pause along the arts district's main stretch. The current room is centered on its coffee bar rather than a gift shop.
