The Pleasant View shop of the Memphis confectioner that Charles Martin Dinstuhl Sr. started on Main Street in 1902, which now makes more than 200 kinds of candy. Its signature is Cashew Crunch, a butter brittle of butter and brown sugar cooked in a copper kettle, with cashew pieces that give it a softer bite, poured onto a bed of fine coconut, rolled thin and cut into squares. The cases also carry fudge, pecan brittle and truffles. Order the Cashew Crunch.
