Dolina, Annamaria Brezna O'Brien's cafe and bakery on North Guadalupe Street, keeps five soups on its menu, from borscht and Hungarian goulash to a cream of mushroom made with shiitake and cremini in vegetable stock with rosemary and sage, and a morning soup of organic New Mexico lamb bone broth with wild rice, caramelized sweet onions, a poached egg and chives. O'Brien was named a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Southwest in 2024.
