Gateway to India's Bay Pines dining room is a St. Petersburg outpost of a restaurant that began south of the Skyway. Its lamb biryani brings light, separate grains of rice with spiced lamb and cooling cucumber raita, followed by kheer scented with kewra and finished with nuts and raisins. The current menu still carries lamb biryani, raita, tandoori chicken, and kheer at the Bay Pines address. Order a curry or biryani with raita, then leave room to share the rice pudding.
