Han Bat Sul Lung Tang is a Koreatown soup institution, founded in South Korea in 1953 before it moved to the United States in 1987, and a local landmark for decades. There is basically one thing on the menu, sullungtang: a steaming bowl of cloudy white soup that arrives within minutes, stocked with rice noodles and long-braised beef, which you season with salt, pepper, green onions and radish kimchi. Order the sullungtang with brisket.
