At Ki’ikibáa, a mom-and-pop Yucatecan counter-service spot on 82nd Avenue, weekends are for the soups. The relleno negro is a turkey stew in a charcoal-black broth darkened with a charred chile paste called recado, with a giant pork meatball that reveals a hard-boiled egg when sliced open, and it tastes spicy and smoky. There is also a more prim blanco version, menudo and a variety of pozoles, including a milder green pozole thickened with tomatillos when it is available. Order the relleno negro.
