Loup in Wauwatosa is the storefront of Wisconsin Soup Co., which had sold its soups in grocery stores, at farmers markets and online before the shop opened. Stop in for a bowl of the hot daily soup or take home a frozen quart for later. The broccoli cheddar is hearty but not too heavy, with chunks of broccoli florets and carrots in a smooth base of Wisconsin sharp cheddar and a hint of Parmesan; the lobster bisque runs uber-rich and the veggie mulligatawny chunky. Order the broccoli cheddar.
