Urban German Wursthaus

Willamette Week's Matthew Korfhage went looking for Munich in St. Johns and found a German style brewery that had built a bar upstairs with a balcony looking at the St. Johns Bridge. He liked the Urban German bratwurst and the house made mustards, called the dark Occidental beer balanced and malty, and found the traditional pretzel a little dry that visit. The paper's later listing puts the Wursthaus inside Occidental Brewing with a large beer selection for a brauhaus. Order the bratwurst with the house mustard and take the balcony for the bridge view.
