O'Connell's Irish Pub & Grille on Campus Corner in Norman is part sports bar and part pub, a comfy wood-paneled room known as much for its sports on TV as for its shuffleboard, trivia and karaoke nights. It began in 1968 as a small Irish pub across the street from the University of Oklahoma, moved to Asp Avenue in 2007 and hosts college game day watch parties. Order burgers, wings or bacon cheese fries, with a pint from the ever-present selection of Irish, British and international ales.
