Quix Chocolate is a boutique Belgian chocolatier in downtown Ferndale, where David Ogloza carries on the name and many of the recipes of Chocoladehuis Quix, the Belgian company his aunt and uncle founded in 1949. Behind the counter the team paints, molds and fills candies made from Belgian chocolate, and it makes custom chocolates carrying customers' own images. Order The Quix, with praline, hazelnut and crème, and a Maple Leaf, with maple syrup caramel and sea salt.
