Society Lounge

Ideastream Public Media and Cleveland Scene have both named this downtown speakeasy's holiday transformation across three separate winters. Each November the room fills with hundreds of glittering ornaments and twinkling lights for a Miracle branded Christmas pop-up, with a menu of original holiday cocktails served in themed glassware. Cleveland Magazine's own roundup calls it an annual holiday takeover. Order one of the whimsically named seasonal cocktails and expect a packed downtown room through the end of December.

Society Lounge is a downtown craft cocktail bar on East Fourth Street that treats invention as the point. Its list runs from reworked daiquiris to reimagined manhattans, taking familiar templates somewhere less expected. The made-to-order, creativity-first approach makes it a fixture of the East Fourth cocktail scene, a place to settle in over a carefully built glass.
