Taqueria Los Mayas on Clement Street makes a sopa de tortilla that is thick and round, with slippery slices of avocado, generous chunks of chicken, strips of tortilla and even whole chile peppers. Ordered for delivery, it comes in a quart container sealed in plastic wrap, with a foil packet of diced red onion, cilantro and sliced radish on the side. The red pozole is satisfying too. Order the sopa de tortilla.
