The Irish Spot opened in the East Tropicana Avenue space that housed Crown & Anchor and quickly became a home for fans of England's top-flight soccer league, the Las Vegas Spurs supporters club among them, with 16 TVs and an upstairs Rebel Room hung with UNLV basketball and football photos. It doubles as a New England Patriots bar. The kitchen makes its own rashers, bakes Irish brown bread and cuts its chips by hand; order the full Irish breakfast or the fish and chips made with Alaskan line-caught cod.
