The Original Soup Kitchen in Midtown has framed photos of George Costanza and "No Soup For You" merch for sale, and the signs, in 12 languages, still tell you to have your money ready and move to your extreme left after ordering. The service is friendly, and the headlining soup is always the lobster bisque. Every soup is loaded with ingredients, so even a small cup is relatively filling, and each order comes with a slice of soft bread, a tiny apple and a chocolate mint. It is takeout only.
