- Soups
Tortilleria Perches, a mother-and-son-owned Mexican restaurant on West Sunshine Street, serves two kinds of pozole. The pozole de puerco, the smokier of the two, is a spicy blend of pork, red chiles and hominy; the pozole verde brings green chiles, tender pork and hominy in a lighter, tangy broth. Both come with lime, cilantro, shredded cabbage, onions and tostadas to add to the bowl. Order the pozole.
