The Savannah Morning News reviewed it after new ownership dropped the bakery operation and rebuilt the food, describing a casual room where guests turn up in shorts and word of mouth fills the lunch service. Eat It & Like It covered a later menu overhaul under chef Brandon. Order the turkey apple and brie omelette, made with the kitchen's own turkey apple sausage.

Charleston Hospitality Group brought its Toast! All Day format to 1 West Broughton Street, as the Savannah Morning News reported when the window decals went up. Breakfast starts early and most morning items stay available all day, with lunch and dinner added as the hours go on. The bar pours fresh juices, wines, beers, mimosas and Bloody Marys, and the owner planned sidewalk seating on both sides. Order a morning plate with a mimosa.
