Chef Scott Durrah smokes jerk chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket over pimento wood imported from Jamaica in an intimate 24-seat LoHi room on Wyandot. The menu folds Southern soul food and a touch of Italian into the Caribbean base, with catfish nuggets, collard greens, and curry pineapple slaw on the sides.

A Montbello counter on Peoria serving jerk pork and chicken, oxtail and beans, curry goat, ackee and saltfish, and escoveitch fish, each plate paired with two sides like plantains or rice and peas. One of the fuller Caribbean menus in the metro, run out of a compact strip-mall kitchen.
Reggae Pot Jamaican Grill · Southeast Denver
Montego Bay native Tamara Nisbeth opened Reggae Pot on South Monaco in 2015, cooking traditional Jamaican plates like ackee and saltfish, stewed oxtail, and jerk chicken with plantains and fried dumplings. A neighborhood favorite that has since added a second metro location and built a steady following.
