Bistro Vendôme · Park Hill
Jennifer Jasinski and Beth Gruitch's classic French bistro closed its longtime Larimer Square home on New Year's Eve 2022 and reopened in Park Hill on Kearney in February 2023. Steak frites, coq au vin, and a garden patio carry the left-bank feel into its new neighborhood.
Coohills · LoDo
Tom and Diane Coohill opened this LoDo room on Wewatta in 2011, cooking French-influenced plates that lean on Colorado farmers, ranchers, and cheesemakers. Burgundy escargot and refined bistro fare earned it a readers' choice French-restaurant nod, and the riverfront patio has long made it a downtown date-night standby.
Brasserie Brixton · Cole
An unpretentious, natural-wine-focused French room in the Cole neighborhood, set in a building more than 130 years old that once held a market. Opened in 2020, it pairs a tight bistro menu with a strong wine list and earned Westword's French-restaurant honor.
