Open since 1951 with the old school charm intact, and LEO readers voted its hot dog their favorite in the city in 2024. It is a walk up window with soft serve running on the other half of the menu, which is the correct pairing on a warm Louisville evening on Shelby Street.

A food truck that grew into a sit down hot dog kitchen inside Atrium Brewing, with builds like the Tatanka, a bison sausage on a pretzel bun under cheddar beer cheese. Louisville Magazine covered the step up. There is a vegan dog on the board as well, which is rarer than it should be.
