Madison's classic gyros stop on State Street, open until 3 a.m. and known for a basket with fries plus a roof garden for open-air dining. It took silver in the 2025 Best of Madison readers' poll's Mediterranean/Middle Eastern category, and it has long stood as the reference point locals measure newer gyro shops against.

A counter-service gyro shop that opened in 2025 near Woodman's West, per Isthmus's year-end dining roundup, and was promptly reviewed by a local critic asking whether it could measure up to Parthenon. This is the original Madison location; a second shop later opened in Green Bay.
