George Salameh opened this small El Cajon Boulevard bakery after being laid off from a car dealership. Born in Lebanon, he could not find za'atar he liked here, so he sourced it abroad and shipped 3,000 pounds over. Order the za'atar flatbread, the traditional man'ousheh the shop was built around. The rest of the menu grew from customers asking for dishes they remembered.
