Anna Miller's has held its corner at Pearlridge Center in ʻAiea since 1973, and since the pandemic it has run as a breakfast, lunch and pie shop with a case of lavish, fresh-baked pies. The fresh strawberry pie, unchanged since the 1970s, layers a mound of giant glazed whole strawberries over luscious custard with a ring of thick whipped cream; the towering full-size pies fill the case from late spring through summer, and miniature single-serving versions sell year-round.
