Du-par's has sold pies since 1938, and its diner at the Original Farmers Market serves old-school dishes such as patty melts and buttery hotcakes. The pies are homey classics sold by the slice, whole and in mini sizes: peach, sweet potato, apple, pecan, cherry, rhubarb, coconut cream and custard, with a pumpkin pie kept on year-round, and some of the recipes date back to the 1930s. Order the pumpkin pie or a slice of the coconut cream.
