Greenhills Irish Bakery

Greenhills Bakery is a Dorchester bakery on Adams Street whose pastries are rooted in Irish tradition and family recipes, with many kinds of pie among them. The rhubarb pie comes plain, without the usual strawberries, in a lightly sweetened crust, and a strawberry rhubarb is there for traditionalists; the blueberry pie uses small Maine wild berries with lemon juice and cinnamon, and the apple pie uses fruit from an orchard in Attleboro. Order the plain rhubarb, then the wild blueberry.
