Feast Magazine puts the Barrel Room next to the bar area and the biergarten at this downtown European pub, which has added the garden and wine on tap over the years it has been open. The bar menu runs to small plates and hearty portions of a bretzel, a Liège waffle, a European cheese plate and bratwurst, and the Barrel Room takes its name from three eight foot wine barrels and keeps an absinthe fountain at its own bar. Owner Lydia Melton's team hosts an annual Oktoberfest in October. Order the bretzel with a wine on tap.
