A family-run Puerto Rican kitchen that started in the Brooks area in 2015, took over Rosario's old Southtown room, and has been at this South Alamo Street address since December 2025 under chef Iris Gonzales-Ornelas. The Current found the slow-cooked ropa vieja, braised in red wine with tomato, onion and bell pepper, succulent and well seasoned, and the chicken breast stuffed with sweet plantain and chorizo the same. Order the Cubanito, pork roast with ham and bacon pressed on brioche.
