Nami is a Japanese sushi and steakhouse room on Atwells Avenue owned by Wendy Lin and her husband, and the Boston Globe went there for the omakase. For one hundred dollars a person the kitchen runs a sixteen course tasting menu that changes nightly, led by executive chef Stanley Chen, who has been there since the restaurant opened. He sources from fishermen based at Japanese seaports, so a seat might bring kinmedai, toro, sea urchin, opakapaka or raw A5 wagyu. Book the omakase on a Sunday, Monday or Thursday.
