Somo Kitchen & Sushi · Jewelry District
A modern Japanese lounge with some of the city's most delicious sushi.
Nami Japanese Restaurant · Providence
Nami is a Japanese sushi and steakhouse room on Atwells Avenue owned by Wendy Lin and her husband, and the Boston Globe went there for the omakase. For one hundred dollars a person the kitchen runs a sixteen course tasting menu that changes nightly, led by executive chef Stanley Chen, who has been there since the restaurant opened. He sources from fishermen based at Japanese seaports, so a seat might bring kinmedai, toro, sea urchin, opakapaka or raw A5 wagyu. Book the omakase on a Sunday, Monday or Thursday.
Ten Steak & Sushi · Downtown
Designer sushi, prime steaks, and award-winning cocktails in a lively room.
Haruki East · East Side
A neighborhood favorite for consistently fresh, well-cut sushi.
