A food truck on Agua Fria parked next to the chef's own house, rose bushes at the door and an organic garden squeezed in behind it. Ras Rody has cooked ital, the Rastafarian plant-based tradition, for more than forty years, and picks each day's menu after juicing spirulina and greens from that garden. The anchors are a combo platter, a soup, a juice and a smoothie; the New Mexican singles out his curried jackfruit in coconut sauce with turmeric and escallion as the dish to ask for.
