Ismael de Sousa closed his counter inside the Source on Brighton Boulevard in March 2026 and reopened that May as Reunion Bakery, in a larger Platt Park storefront on South Pearl Street with seating, a shop of Colorado cookbooks and an open view of the kitchen. Bon Appetit named the bakery one of America's fifty best new restaurants in 2019.
