Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish runs its Lenten fish fry at the Saint Teresa of Avila campus in West View. The fry's organizer holds a taste test each December to choose the season's fish, and a frozen-at-sea Icelandic cod has won a few years in a row. Dinners pair a choice of entree with two sides: fries, baked potato, macaroni and cheese or coleslaw.
