A soul food restaurant run by mother and daughter Barbara Collins and Lillian Rambus that grew out of sweet potato pie: the pair started selling Collins's pies at the Kent farmers market in 2011 and sold out every Saturday, opened in Madison Valley three years later and moved into the Jackson Apartments in the Central District in 2022. Sweet potato pies and tarts are made all year, and the dessert case holds them beside banana pudding and bread pudding, with fried chicken, waffles, greens and catfish on the menu. Order a slice of sweet potato pie.
