A veteran-owned bean-to-bar chocolate maker and coffee roaster in the historic Britton District, opened in 2019 as Zero Tolerance Coffee and Chocolate by Maura and Roy Baker, who taught themselves chocolate making from books, chemistry texts and trial and error. One roaster handles both the coffee and the cacao, and the cacao comes through Uncommon Cacao so the owners know the beans are ethically sourced. Chocolate bars sell alongside the coffee. Order a Foobar, craft chocolate wrapped around crispy, salty peanut butter.
