A Nixa pie kitchen that bakes to order rather than filling a bakery case: orders are picked up at its North Main Street address or delivered. Pies come on a choice of crusts, from the signature flaky crust to chocolate cookie, graham cracker almond and pecan shortbread, and the fall flavors include an old-fashioned buttermilk pie warmed with nutmeg, a pumpkin crunch with caramel baked in under a pecan butter crumb, and an oatmeal pie of toasted rolled oats and dark corn syrup. Order the old-fashioned buttermilk.
