Salt Lake magazine's Christie Porter writes that the patio here carries German biergarten vibes and that you will make fast friends on it. The cover is up and the heat is on year round, so the room works in November as well as June, and there is seating for about 80 plus standing space, which is enough to find a corner alone if that is the mood. The bar is 21 and over. Order a beer and a bratwurst, with a vegan version available.
Bohemian Brewery · Midvale
The Salt Lake Tribune describes Bohemian Brewery in Midvale as famous for European style lagers and for bratwurst, pierogies and goulash, the Czech and Bavarian kitchen that sits behind the beer. The paper reported in 2018 that the owners of Porcupine Pub and Grille, the Dodo and the Rio Grande Cafe had bought it, with no plans to change the restaurant or the Czech beers and hopes of expanding the brewery later. Order a lager and a plate of bratwurst.
