Troy Mediterranean Cuisine sits on Abercorn Street on the Southside, away from the downtown crowds. Connect Savannah's Greek roundup describes a menu spanning Greek, Turkish, Southern Italian and Spanish cooking, with several types of gyro to suit different tastes and an antipasto platter to start. The restaurant closed a second Johnny Mercer Boulevard location, so the Abercorn Street storefront is the only one still operating. Order a gyro and the stuffed grape leaves.
Yia Yia's Kitchen & Marketplace · Ardsley Park
Yia Yia's Kitchen is a Greek kitchen and market at Habersham and 49th streets in Ardsley Park, opened by Savannah native Stathy Stathopoulos and his wife Penny. Connect Savannah covered the opening, with trays of moussaka and pastitsio ready to take home beside a deli case and desserts brought in from Hellas Bakery in Tarpon Springs. The market side carries Mediterranean wines, cheeses, pastries and spices. Order a tray to take home.
Limani · River Street
A waterfront Greek restaurant that opened on East River Street in July 2026 from Vasilis Varlagas, who co-founded Olympia Cafe on the same street back in 1994. Eat It and Like It covered the grand opening as a family affair, with a menu carrying the coastal Greek cooking Varlagas built his reputation on across three decades in Savannah.
