Flying Monk Noodle Bar · Historic District
Flying Monk Noodle Bar serves bowls of pho and noodles built around a Chinatown theme, with most plates kept under thirteen dollars, sitting across Broughton Street from its sibling restaurant Chive. Connect Savannah described the concept as drawing on the bustling Chinatown districts of New York and San Francisco. Savannah Magazine's 2025 reader survey named it the city's Vietnamese pick.
Asian Bistro · Midtown
Asian Bistro serves Vietnamese cooking from a Waters Avenue kitchen that traded for years under the name Saigon Bistro before renaming sometime between the 2025 award season and mid 2026. Savannah Magazine's 2025 reader survey named the restaurant, then still called Saigon Bistro, alongside Flying Monk Noodle Bar in the city's Vietnamese category. The business itself still uses old Saigon Bistro image file names on its current website, but the storefront and ordering pages read Asian Bistro.
