The bar calls itself dog and family friendly and pours from a seasonal Bavarian menu. Order the monster pretzel with both dips and a boot to share at one of the long tables.

A year round beer garden on an Astroturf and concrete lot in NoMa, tented and heated once the weather turns. Washingtonian counted over 20 drafts, mostly German and local, joined by hot cocktails in the cold months, and fire pits set through the yard. Groups can reserve outdoor cabanas that hold five to ten guests with no minimum. The garden opens in the afternoon on weekdays and at noon on weekends. Order a stein and claim a fire pit, or book a cabana if you are bringing a crowd.
