Basil was named Best Thai in the Charleston City Paper's 2026 readers' poll and Best Asian Restaurant in the Post and Courier's 2025 Charleston's Choice poll. The restaurant has consolidated to two locations, in Park Circle and Mount Pleasant, after closing its original downtown King Street space.

Ti-Ney Bangkok opened on James Island in the former Zeppelin Pizza space, run by owners born and raised in Bangkok. The menu covers curry poppers, pad see ew and roasted duck over ginger rice, in a strip center shared with Garage 75 and Ladles Soups.
Taste of Thai · West Ashley
Taste of Thai finished runner-up for Best Thai behind Basil in the Charleston City Paper's 2026 readers' poll, cooking from a storefront on Orleans Road in West Ashley. A separate, closed restaurant of the same name once operated on Dorchester Road in North Charleston.
