PJ Thai · Historic District
PJ's Thai runs a Historic District kitchen on Abercorn Street. Savannah Magazine's 2025 reader survey named it the city's Thai pick. Some online directories list the restaurant under the longer name PJ's Thai Corner, but its own primary listings and social pages use the shorter PJ's Thai, at the same address and phone number.
Chiriya’s Thai Cuisine · Eastside
Chiriya's Thai Cuisine runs an Eastside kitchen from a chef with a Chinese father and a Thai mother, serving drunken noodles, pad thai and a coconut curry. Savannah Magazine's 2025 reader survey placed it alongside PJ's Thai in the city's Thai category. An older Connect Savannah readers poll page for Thai food circulates online but is dated 2021, not the current year, so this listing relies on the fresher Savannah Magazine survey.
The King & I · Southside
The King & I runs Ele Tran's Southside Thai dining room on Hodgson Memorial Drive, with generous portions and a rotating set of curries. Connect Savannah has covered the restaurant alongside its neighbor Tangerine as a Southside dining destination, and Savannah Magazine's 2017 eats coverage named it a category standout under an earlier version of the name, The King and I. The current trading name uses an ampersand.
