Columbia's only locally owned drive-in, per Vox Magazine, where manager Brandon Kewley has worked since he was 12 and whose grandfather Ray Kewley bought the place on July 2, 1955, when it belonged to a chain of 60. Vox describes carhops bouncing between cars and the kitchen with silver trays of smashed burgers, cheese fries and frosted mugs of root beer floats.
