Ocha Thai Restaurant · Green Meadows
Kitt Chompupong ran Thip Thai in Columbia for nearly a decade before opening this Green Meadows Road room in the space Just Jeff's south location left behind, per Inside Columbia. The Columbia Missourian reports that his wife folded her My Sweet Parlor dessert work into Ocha Thai when the parlor's own East Broadway storefront closed, so the mango cakes and cookies-and-cream crepe cakes she was known for are now made here by request.
Kinkao · Downtown
Kinkao opened in June as the second Thai room downtown, per the Columbia Missourian, in the East Broadway space Chim's Thai Kitchen left behind. The Missourian describes fresh ingredients across fried rice, stir fry and curry plates, with pad Thai the plate customers ask for, and an online ordering service built around a quick meal.
