Butcher & Rose occupies a polished downtown room with steaks, chops, seafood, and composed sides at the center of its menu. The service and setting suit an occasion, but the kitchen brings enough restraint to keep the meal focused on ingredients. Its modern approach complements Columbus's older steakhouse institutions.
